This warm rustic wedding inspiration gives us an old-world charm when we imagine our Autumnal dream wedding decor.
This villa venue in Pasadena has more in common with rustic Tuscan wineries than anyone could have imagined in Southern California. With the help of talented designer Cynthia Alexander Event, we are instantly transported to Italy’s countryside just miles away from Downtown LA.
Many little details add to the old-world feel. One of our bride’s Claire Pettibone bridal gowns with pastel floral embroidery lend a delicate feel to the scene. Aiza Photography captured the scene analogically, giving it a vintage feel thanks to its creamy film photography.
Photography
Recently, I challenged myself to go to my first film photography course. Patricks Lee’s Apollo Workshop focused on film photography, artificial lighting, and Patricks Lee. I was the first to enter his workshop, along with three amazing fine art photographers.
The workshop was held in Pasadena, a famous city in Southern California. The photoshoot was made more romantic and fun because our models were a couple.
The wedding planner Cynthia and the florist, Rogue & Fox Floral, did a fantastic job. The flower wall at the ceremony was beautiful. It was the first time I saw anything like it. They looked as if they floated in the air.
I chose Villa Del Sol Doro as the venue. As a photographer and designer, I love the meticulous details throughout the property. This played a vital role in the couple’s inspiration.
The view was stunning when I opened the doors on the balcony of the second-floor villa. The tall trees created an endless tunnel when perfectly positioned across one another. The view is hard to describe in words.
