The Willowbank Mansion is in a quiet location hidden in the beautiful and romantic scenery of the Heritage District of Niagra-on-the-Lake.
We took a trip back to the story that was Pride & Prejudice and into a contemporary retelling of The Georgian Era. The inspiration came from this masterpiece of 1834 of Upper Canadian Villas Willowbank Mansion became the perfect backdrop for our carefully planned soft and romantic old-world style wedding shoot. Two stunning dresses with unique details, including velvet settees, velvet settees, and the luscious autumnal shades of figs, berries, and peaches, set the scene.
In 2004 Willowbank was awarded its National Historic Site designation and was granted easement protection through the Ontario Heritage Trust, ensuring that it won’t be subject to the possibility of being demolished again.
While we know its story and can identify a person to the people who ran it and as a team of creatives, we have reimagined its past.
